Mother's Day

Step-By-Step Bracelet Making

  1. Take out your elastic string. One end of this string already has a knot prepared for you to begin beading your bracelet.
  2. Create whatever pattern you'd like with the beads in your bag and string beads on to a half way point. (Measure your bracelet on your wrist and guess at a decent half way mark)
  3. Lay out your letter beads in the correct spelling of your word(s) and place them on your string just as if you were writing them on a piece of paper. Make sure your letters are facing the correct direction.
  4. Finish off your bracelet with the second half of your bead pattern. Again, check by measuring your bracelet around your wrist to determine a good stopping point.
  5. Place the Grace 'g' pendant on the end of your string and tie square knots into your elastic, pulling both ends of the beads as close together as you can. Wiggle and pull the string to tighten it
  6. The next knot you need to make is the overhand knot. With both strands together wrap them around your finger (as if you're tying a balloon) and pull it tight against the square knots. (Here is a YouTube link if you need a visual: How To Tie An Elastic Bracelet)
  7. Pull each strand tight individually and trim any excess string.
